Our annual Native American Mural Celebration will be held on November 15th at the Richard Oakes Multicultural Center, room T-143, at San Francisco State University. We would like to acknowledge that this event will take place on Ramaytush Ohlone land and hope that many will join us for this celebration.

The Native American Mural Celebration is an annual collaborative event between SKINS (Student Kouncil of Intertribal Nations) and The Richard Oakes Multicultural Center; this year we will be honoring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) and its effect within the community. The event will start off with food and a discussion panel followed by drumming and singing performances and a beading demo.

We have the privilege of having several keynote speakers for this event, including Dr. Melissa Nelson, Dr. Joanne Barker, and a representative from CCUIH, the California Consortium for Urban Indian Health.
